Busch's Kennel is owned and operated by William and Cecile Busch. The kennel was originally built for their own show dogs and has been enlarged two times.
In 1960, the Buschs began raising and showing Beagles. They expanded their interest in the dog show world by handling dogs for other breeders and owners. They showed dogs all over the country, including the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club dog show, where Bill handled a dalmatian named Ch. Fireman's Freckled Friend to a Non-Sporting Group first place win.
They are now retired from the dog showing world and have devoted even more time to their boarding facility.
The Buschs were longtime officers in the local Southeast Missouri Kennel Club and are still active members of the National Beagle Club.
